Making a Memory.

Last month I wanted to remember this moment.
With Tucker I was so good about taking special pictures of him monthly from the time he was born until he turned a year old. With the girls I started taking monthly pictures, with our first one even being in the NICU, and it eventually became hard to keep up with. Not that I didn’t take pictures of them all.the.time. I just wasn’t good at remembering to do the special monthly pictures with extra cute outfits & their special blankets each month.
With Tucker we took him to get professional photos every three months until he was one and then yearly thereafter (until he turned three that is & I completely forgot any sort of fancy picture to commemorate the moment). With the girls we took them after they came home from the NICU, at six months, and then again at a year. I know, loser mom.
The last family photos we had taken were quite some time ago & I’ve been meaning to schedule some soon. Like, if I don’t do it soon I’m totally going to miss this moment in time of our family. So when I took these photos of the kids last weekend it reminded me of the post from last month I mentioned above. I’m going to try my best to find a moment every month from here on out that is one I truly wish to treasure. Like this:

{Love Lilah’s silly grin in this!}

{It looks like Lexie’s on a wild ride! & who knows what Tucker’s thinking!}

{Can we get all three looking at the camera, please?!}

{Ok, no, you really wont just look at me?}

{Lilah looks super jealous in this one. Love it.}
{& that’s it. Right there. The moment I don’t ever want to forget. The picture doesn’t even do it justice. You should have seen all three sets of legs swinging away as I snapped these photos. It was priceless & precious all rolled into one.}

    Beautiful. We bought a Nikon SLR in October so I could take good pictures at home instead of taking the kids in every three months, and I think it's worked out well.

    I LOVE those pictures. The little feet swinging together is so cute, and I love the brother kiss!

    Fabulous!

    I love those at-home photo shoots with the kids, where you spend forever trying to get everyone to look at the camera at one time, and you end up with one amazing, accidentally perfect shot. So glad you were able to capture one of those memories!
