One year.

Be grateful for the home you have, knowing that at this moment, all you have is all you need.
-Sarah Ban Breathnach

I missed the one year anniversary of buying our first home. I knew it was coming but totally missed celebrating on the day. As of March 31st we’ve owned (I use this word loosely since we technically have 29 more years before we’ll actually own the home! Ha!) for a year. As of April 1st we’ve lived in our first home for a year.

Man, what a year it’s been!

We love our home dearly, and realized it just recently after taking a mini-vacation and feeling so grateful to return to our home even after the fun we had away. It’s always just so right when you’re at home rather than somewhere else. & although we know this is not our forever home, it’s the perfect place for us right now.

In one year we’ve done so much to make this house a home. So much to make it our home. I cherish the memories we are making here and the fact that our kids have all they need when inside these walls we call home. I cannot wait to see what another year here brings for us!
