Ever feel like your wheels are spinning but you aren’t going anywhere?
Ya. That’s me.
I feel stuck. & the blog is taking a hitting because of it.
You would think with me being on summer vacation I’d have more time to focus on it, but I don’t. I’ve been spending my days with the kids (& trust me, I don’t regret a minute of that decision because really, almost two & almost four? Where has the time gone?). I’ve been spending a lot of time researching into doing a craft show this December with my shop. Which means stocking up on inventory right now while I have the time. Any other time I have I find myself drifting towards Pinterest & Twitter, which we all know is such a time sucker (but in the best possible way).
I’ve decided I need a blog conference to push me. I started looking this morning at what I could feasibly do the soonest. So many conferences are held far from Florida (& I’m not one to pick flying as a first mode of transportation…especially alone). The other factor is the cost. I don’t know about you, but we don’t have one of those trees in the backyard that sprouts cash.
I’ve decided on an October road trip to Atlanta for Bloggy Bootcamp. One problem. I’m also not one to drive a few hundred miles by myself to embark on a new adventure by myself. & I don’t know how thrilled hubs would be with me hitting up the ATL on my own.
So, any of my Florida bloggy peeps wanna partake in a road trip with me? I promise I’m not a serial killer. I drive the speed limit (or close to it, ha!), I don’t snore, and I enjoy my fair share of good road trip tunes & junk food.
