Momma Fancies

With trying to work on the blog slump I’ve been feeling lately I introduced my newest link-up, What’s Cookin’ Wednesday, this past week. Why stop there I figured. The weekends are always slower on the blog front, so I figured Sunday would be the perfect day to spice it up a bit.

Momma Fancies is going to be a weekly shout-out for all the things I fancy in the bloggy world. Each week I’ll feature five posts that I really caught my eye. First up?

  • Jessica at My Time as Mom discussed the 7 Deadly Twitter Sins. Thankfully for me I think I only commit No. 1 on that list but am working on it because #wineparty is really a lot of fun!

  • Amy at Dwell in the Season is making a quick trip with a group of girlfriends and taking these amazingly delicious looking cupcakes with her!

Lucky for us she shared the recipe link! I’m sure my waistline will be so appreciative to her.

  • Jen at Our Micro Preemie Twins has been sharing the journey of her daughter, Faith, who just received a Cochlear Implant. If you have never visited Jen’s blog before, you really should. Her girls were given a 5% chance of surviving when born. Although they have beaten so many odds, they continue to climb an uphill battle with the effects of being born prematurely. Jen and her husband have so much faith in God and His plan. She inspires me daily!
  • Who’s going to BlogHer11? I totally wish I was. Heck, I just wish I had a blog conference booked at all. (Something I’m totally working on). Janice of 5 Minutes for Mom wrote a great piece this week about who should attend a blog conference, and how to pick the conference best suited for you. I’m definitely taking advantage of her tips and cannot wait to read about her (and everyone else’s for that matter) experience at BlogHer this year!

  • Finally, over at 320 Sycamore, I fell in love with the penny tile that Melissa introduced in her new kitchen cabinet backs. Melissa has such an eye for decorating and always comes up with a new and interesting way to use things that leave you thinking, “Now, why didn’t I think of that!?”.

I hope you enjoyed the first edition of Momma Fancies and take a peek at the five posts I enjoyed most this week! If you were featured this week, please feel free to grab the button below!

Weekends are a little slow for blogging so this seems like a good idea. Good luck!
