Momma Fancies

This week’s edition almost didn’t happen. Mostly because of the lack of time I had to blog read this past week but also because being back to work and trying to get back into our school year routine is still a big of a work in progress. I figure after another week or so we should be used to it all again.

This week I’m sharing just two posts. Both of these hit home because both of these talk a lot about re-prioritizing life. I’ve been doing a lot of that lately it seems (most likely because of the summer coming to an end and the school year starting) and I mentioned it in my last post. Seeing other mom bloggers feeling the same way makes me feel a little better because it reminds me I’m not alone. We (all moms) stretch ourselves beyond imagine and eventually something has to give.

Kimberly at Mama’s Monologues  realized the need for a change after a week vacation with her family. Being un-plugged for a week helped her to realize that some revisions needs to made, but finding the happy medium is still a work in progress.

Ashley of Little Miss Momma achieved her Aha! moment as she put it, while watching an episode of Oprah (who doesn’t have one of those moments from time-to-time while watching Opera?!).

Have you ever felt this way, too? What did you do?

    Thanks for featuring me!

Something definitely has to give. I feel so overwhelmed and spread so thin as it is and I know it’s going to get worse with the school year starting next week and my oldest beginning fall sports. Luckily I have great friends like you to talk with and relate to! 😉

    • I have been feeling so much of the same things that you mentioned in this post, so I of course had to share! I have definitely let blogging and twitter take a back-seat since school started back up. It feels good to step away a bit & just let life happen. I do miss twitter a lot, and I try to keep up with my normal blog posts, but as you can tell, things like replying to comments have been put on the back burner from time to time! Ugh…how come we can’t just have a million hours in a day to do all the things we’d like to!?
