Twinkie Tuesday: Party Girls!

The girls had an amazing birthday party on Saturday with our closest friends & family. Our theme was, “Look Whooo’s Turning 2!” It was something I had seen many, many months ago, after I had already bought their owl bedding, and knew it was perfect for our girls!

I had put off planning this party, I think coming to the realization that my babies were turning two was harder for me to handle than I expected. Lucky for me, my mom came over twice last week to help me plan and get things done. Without her help, it wouldn’t have turned out as well as it did.

In love with these tissue paper pom poms! Why haven’t I done them before?!

My big girls. They totally look two. (P.S. I made these dresses! I’m adding these to my shop as soon as I have time to whip some more up!)

7-30-113

A little more party prep & Lexie sneaking some snacks before the guests arrived.

Aunt Marcie & baby Olivia Madison, Daddy & Lilah, Marcie & her Momma, and cousin Sydney.

Little Cooper & his momma & daddy, Miss MacKenzie, and some of the Spilios clan! I did a horrible job taking pictures of our guests or the fun the kids had in the pools out back.

Singing Happy Birthday!

Chowing down on the sweets. Love the action shot of Lexie in the bottom corner!

Opening presents!

Loving their new clothes & bracelets!

Dora bath toys, new shoes, dollhouse toys, and clothes! Every little girls dream!

Kisses for our birthday girls & exhaustion at the end of a great day!

P.S. One of my dear friends, Lynn, had her baby girl, Abigail, on the afternoon of July 31st. Yes, that means the girls now share their birthday with their newest little pal! We are so excited to welcome another baby into our group of friends and so happy for the new family!

  1. What a lovely party! I love the owl theme and the girls’ dresses are so cute. You are so talented (a little jealous, from a craft-challenged mama).

    • Thanks Alison…I have gotten lucky in the crafting department but sometimes it’s a curse because I always try to do it myself versus just buying it already done! Lots of work! ha!
