How’d I skip this?

Last month, there was an amazing event hosted in our downtown area that we had the pleasure of attending. My friend Kelly works for Kissimmee Main Street and is one of the faces behind this little affair. It was fittingly titled, Flicks on the Bricks with Central Florida Food Trucks.

It started out as mostly a free movie for the kiddos, Ratatouille, projected on a big screen in Toho Square and quickly evolved into a perfect event for the young & old alike with the most delicious food you could ever imagine!

It happened to rain all day long, before the big event, but there was no stopping the crowds. Everyone turned out, with umbrellas in tow, to hit up to yummy food trucks (The Flattery and The Yum Yum Truck were two of my personal favs) and then many stuck around for the movie afterwards.

This weekend is going to be another great event hosted downtown and we are waiting anxiously for Friday to roll around. Kissimmee Main Street will be hosting Trick or Treat on Broadway, where the kiddos will get to trick-or-treat the shops downtown and then follow it up with a viewing of Monsters, Inc. How much fun is that!? If you live any where near Kissimmee, you should really come on out!

I wish I lived in an area that did fun stuff like that! I guess that isn’t one of the perks of small town living. Hope you all enjoy your Halloween show 🙂
