I’m really sorry for the lapse in posts last week. I was feeling pretty miserable (my allergies were acting up and making my head pound) and just didn’t have the energy to write a post, even if it were for something as simple is this yummy recipe. Please forgive me! I’m hoping you’ll link up this week (including any What’s Cookin’ Wednesday recipes you had to share last week!) though! On to the recipe…something perfect for the fall weather that is starting to creep in here in Florida!
I am not an applesauce person, and by that I mean, at all. I don’t eat it, ever. Except the one time of year that I make it on Johnny Appleseed Day (September 26 if you were wondering) for my students. Why? Because I absolutely love this version of homemade applesauce. And I love it mostly because it is served piping hot and has big ol’ chunks of apples! I always have to warn my students to let it cool or they will burn their little mouths! It is the best stuff ever.
Have a recipe (or two?!) to share? Go ahead and link up now! I can’t wait to check them out and add to my growing collection of yummy (& usually very easy!) recipes!
