Yesterday we went to Sea World for a few hours to renew our season passes. Mike & I get our passes through my mom. Not only does my mom watch our kiddos Monday-Friday, but she works at Sea World on the weekends & through the summer. She’s worked there for 30+ years, isn’t that crazy? She started in high school and kept on with them because of the good benefits.
Right now, Sea World is offering a PreSchool Pass to kids 5 & under. Last year, we had to get a pass through my mom for Tucker (she gets a few extra each year) because he was three. This year, because of this special offer, we got all three kids the passes. The girls will turn three in July, so we figured it would be easiest just to get the passes all at once.
After we finally got in, we rented a stroller (free! one of the perks of our passes) and the girls got busy figuring out what our plan of action was with the maps. We headed to the dolphins first because they are Tucker’s favorite to see. Next, we popped over to see Nana at work & take a look at the Polar Bears. The kids (& Mike!) were getting hungry so we got some lunch & followed it up with “yummy nilla” ice cream.
After lunch we headed to the kids area and rode the carousel, took a train ride, and played on the slides. Tucker climbed all through their netted playground & then the kids finished off by playing in the sand area. Lilah was quite tired by this point after two days of no naps (it was a busy weekend!)
Tucker & Lexie wanted a picture with “Willy” (that’s what Tucker calls him in lieu of Shamu) before we left. By the time we found the car (Mike & I never remember to pay attention to where we park when we are parking…) and started for home, the girls were out. Tucker fell asleep about 2.5 seconds after I took the last picture.
Oh, the joys of living in FL, especially in the theme park capital. Being able to spend a few hours in the off season can be fun. If you live in the Central Florida area (or San Diego or San Antonio…not sure if they are offering it?) and have kids 5 & under, check out the free PreSchool Pass!
