The whole week before Mike teased Tucker with a song that went to the tune of “Happy Birthday” and Tucker would tell him, “That’s not the song, dad! Mrs. Krenn knows the right words!”. He would also tell me that he was not going to drink the tea, that he would be drinking the juice.
Lucky for him, there was no tea, just a really yummy punch, sandwiches, a fruit spread, and some cookies & cupcakes. Before we devoured the yummy goods, we listened the classes sing their songs and a special Mother’s Day story was read.
My mom (Tucker and I invited Nana to go, seeing as she does so much with Tucker’s schooling) and I spent the rest of the day with Tucker and it was a perfect day.
My outfit? Pretty much the same thing I wore for Easter, except I traded out my pencil skirt for white jean capris from Target. Love these skinny capris. Tucker wore his Easter outfit, too. Handsome boy (who obviously doesn’t like the sun in his eyes! Silly squint!)
