Tucker’s 1st birthday was a wild party…he he he. A jungle theme. Mike & I were the “Zoo Keepers” and our family was the zoo “Staff”. I had made shirts that said so. My school library has these huge zoo animals, and I borrowed them for Tucker’s special day. I’ve made my kid’s birthday cakes every year, with Tucker’s first birthday being the start of that tradition.
Looking back now I realize I didn’t take many pictures from that day, but if I were to ask my dad (the king of picture taking) I’m sure he’d have ton. I was probably too busy making sure everything was going off without a hitch. We had it at the Jersey house, with a big tent & tables & chairs set up out back, and a bounce house in the front.
Tucker got way to many presents, but who doesn’t on their first birthday? Such a lucky boy to have so many great friends and family to celebrate him.
P.S. He pretty much became a full fledged walker the day after his birthday!
