We took Tucker a second time to Tennessee when he was about nine months old. This time, like the time before, my parents came with us, but we brought my grandma with us, too!
We spent Fourth of July there, and found a neighboring town that had a huge craft show with lots of yummy food to celebrate the occasion. We went out on a nearby lake on a pontoon boat one afternoon, and spent a few different days looking at houses in the area since our five year plan at that time was to move to Tennessee.
We loved being in Tennessee, so it’s crazy that this time we took Tucker was the last time we went up to Tennessee until this past year. That’s just life, I guess. I’m not sure when we’ll go back up to Tennessee again, but we sure do love it there and calling somewhere like that home one day is still on our wish list.![]()

I’m enjoying these posts!
I am enjoying them, too! It’s so much fun to look back and really remember these moments! I’m glad someone else is enjoying them as well…seeing as I mostly did this series for myself, to get it all documented!
I can tell you that Tennessee is the most awesome place to live. Keep it in your head!!
Yes, it is in our head still…I just hope it’s not TOO long before we can make it a reality!
No place better than Tennessee
I could just be saying that because it is the only place that I have ever lived.
