His Timing.

Last week, I reached out on instagram for prayers from anyone & everyone that was willing to give them. Beyond family and a few close friends, I have yet to share why this was much needed that night. The one thing I did say was that it was one of those “it happens for a reason, God has a plan” (but we just can’t see it ourselves) kind of moment.

In a matter of 24 hours I had emotions from opposite ends of the spectrum running through me. Fear, frustration, elation, and however you describe “this went from something terrible to this sounds almost too good to be true”.  I’m still a little scared to share completely about it, in fear of “jinxing” us, because we just aren’t the kind of people that seem to “catch a break”. But, just maybe, now is our time.

Today is a big day for us, for Mike really, and if you could please say a little prayer again that it all works out, we’d much appreciate it. I promise to share soon. When I know all i’s have been dotted & t’s have been crossed.

& just maybe, you are going through something right now as well. Maybe one of these will help…

thank you for posting this.. my husband and I are having a hard time remembering this, as I’ve been job searching for 2 years and we’ve been in this apartment for 5, with seemingly no end at sight. I told him, one day, everything will be how it’s supposed to be… and we will look back and think how this time makes perfect sense in the grand scheme of it all. Its not OUR plan, its HIS plan, and HIS time and he WILL provide. He knows what our hearts want and what our bodies need. It will happen.
