There is so much to share that I almost don’t know where to begin. A few nights before Christmas we headed to Sea World with my parents & brother & sister-in-law to see the lights & some Christmas shows. Since my mom has worked at Sea World for 30+ years, we had meal passes for free dinner out there as well.
Lucky for us, this was when the cold front had rolled through & we were able to bundle up, which made it feel more like Christmas! The girls look adorable in these coats of theirs! (P.S. This will be a total picture overload, as will posts to come that run-down our Christmas festivities).
Tucker loves looking at the boats & fake whales out front. After we took a few pictures & got situated with a stroller for the girls to ride in, we headed to see the dolphins. The kids love going to the underwater dolphin viewing area first any time we visit Sea World. I think this was the best time I got pictures of the kids with dolphins in view, they were swimming all over the place.
We then headed over to the Clyde & Seamore show, it was really cute because it was Christmas themed, the kids loved that the pirate ship was all decorated, too. We had some snacks then, Shamu soft pretzels & Uncle Alex had a turkey leg that tasted a lot like ham he said. Ha!
After the show was over we had dinner & watched the light show that the lighted trees on the water do every so often. It was really funny because Tricia couldn’t want to see them & had gotten up to go the bathroom & the minute she did the show started! Luckily it was pretty long & she caught the end of it when she got back. After dinner we went to another show, a cute Elmo show that was themed for Christmas, too.
We finished the night off with a trip to see Santa (all Tucker was dying to do the entire time we were at Sea World!) and watched the night Shamu Show (I didn’t take any picture of it though, probably because it was pretty cold up in the stadium by that point).
Lexie told Santa she wanted a Mermaid Dora, Tucker told him Hulk Hands, & Lilah told him a pink phone. Lilah thought she was suppose to get the gift from Santa right then & there & kept telling him “pink phone!” every time he tried to say something to her. It was hilarious!
It was a great way to sort of kick-off the start of the days leading up to Christmas, definitely got the kids & us adults in the spirit!
Coming next, Christmas cookies & crafting with cousins and a visit to Aunt Cathy & Uncle Gene’s house.
