I added a new tab to the menu bar not too long ago. Its’ the Home Tour tab, and when you just hang your curser over it down floats the options: our home, the good pictures or our home, in storybook.

You’ll notice that I mention these pictures are a continual work in progress. Like right now, when my living room is couch-less because I finally sold the red ones & am itching to get to Ikea to buy my new one. Our house is forever changing and I have a love/hate relationship with that fact.

I love working on making our home more ours, my husband hates all my crazy ideas until he eventually ends up loving them, and I hate the fact that this isn’t the home we want to be in forever but at the same time, I can’t imagine ever leaving this hard work behind.

So, go take a tour of our home, click those little tabs up there & let me know what you think!

    Hi,
I just signed up for the Inspiration Board and came across yours somehow. I don’t have a blog but I just wanted to write about the IKEA couch! My home is probably 60% IKEA – love the store! I bought the Ektorp couch and sleeper couch, I loved the fact that I could wash the covers. But I wouldn’t recommend it now that I have it. One reason is that it’s much lower than most couches, 34′ versus 39″ so it looks too small in the room, and once you use it for about a month it starts to sag quite a bit making it even lower and look sloppy. You’ll find yourself constantly picking up and fluffing the cushions. The only place I would recommend the couch would be for a playroom or game room, def not your main living room couch! After about 6 mos of having the couches, I’m heading in search of a replacement next week. Other than that, IKEA is my FAV store!
