Today is my parent’s 30th wedding anniversary. Isn’t that amazing?! 30 years, one house, two children, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, three grandchildren, some dogs, a cat or two, a few fish, and a ton of reptiles later and here we are.
We celebrated Sunday evening, with a few surprises up our sleeves for mom & dad. The kids loved being in on them, and they actually did not spoil the surprises! My parents enjoy vacationing and in a few of their favorite spots (the Keys, Savannah, and Tybee Island) these new bikes will come in handy.
Then we went to one of my parent’s favorite local restaurant for dinner, followed by walking around downtown. We played tourist in our own town and enjoyed getting a close look at all the construction going on. They’ve been working hard at re-doing our lakefront and we can’t wait until it’s finished! It’s going to be gorgeous.
We finished the night off with some Key Lime Pie cupcakes, courtesy of my friend Meagan at Mrs. Coopcakes, and a test drive on the new bikes.
It was a great way to celebrate their 30 years of marriage and I couldn’t choose just a few pictures so I had to share almost all of them. There’s 40 pictures if I counted right (I was hoping it would be an even 30) so here’s to the next ten years (and many more after that, as well!).
Happy Anniversary, Mom & Dad! We love you!
