Our lazy 4th.

We had a low key 4th of July, which is actually pretty traditional for us. Mike had to work, so my parents joined the kids & I for the day. We grilled out at home, the kids swam in the pool, we napped & waited for it to get dark.

When it was close to dark, we headed down to the lakefront for some fun. We had some treats like Italian ice & beer (can you tell the kids snack from my dad’s snack?) and found a really good spot to wait for the show to start.

When we got home, we did sparklers & poppers outside followed by a little late night snack before bed. Hope your fourth was as exciting or festive or as laid back as you wanted it to be!
