The girls had quite a few celebrations this past week in honor of their fourth birthday. We started with dinner the night before their birthday with nan & paps, all the girls favorite foods, little cakes for each of them, and a few presents to start their birthday off right. Then, the kids & I headed out to Gaylord Palms for their actual birthday. Their cousins & grandma & aunt B came to swim at the amazing pool and grandma stayed the night with us at the hotel. Finally, we topped off their birthday with a little celebration at one of our favorite nearby parks.

Our birthday present for them was little bikes (Barbie bikes that are decked out to the max, I found them on sale at Target a few weeks ago & couldn’t pass them up!) and this playground has perfect sidewalks around it for bike riding. We brought Tucker’s bike with us for the party & had their cousins bring their bikes as well. We had a little pizza & chips, cake, & the kids got to decorate their bikes with a few things I made like handle bar streamers & pipe cleaner fun for their wheels. It was a good, sweaty, fun day. Lexie loves her bike & was doing great on it by the time we left. Lilah loves hers as well, but needs a little more practice! I’m hoping they get really good at it by the time the fall temps come into play so we can go on evening family bike rides.
