Mount Dora Christmas Getaway, part one.

On Saturday, we headed to Mount Dora with my parents to spend the weekend. We had decided a few months back to attend their annual Christmas parade, stay the night at one of their local B&B’s, shop their quaint little shops, eat their good food, and enjoy the millions of little lights they deck their town square.

We had a great weekend, minus the fact that Florida decided to be in the 80’s this weekend! I mean really? Winter in Florida is a big fat joke. Instead of boots, scarfs, and knit caps we were decked out in shorts, flip flops, and even bathing suits at one point! But, through it all, we had a great time. Tucker decided we need to do it again next year but stay at least two days (and I have to say, I agree!).

I’m using a photo album to share the photos, something new to me, but there is just so many. Hope it works ok!

Great pics! I was looking into going to Mount Dora with the hubby a while back and maybe stay at a bed and breakfast but he is not too interested – I think it would be great to go antiquing and stuff!!!
