For my dad.

We had dinner at my parent’s house tonight. It’s become a weekly thing now that my mom has started her little business. I’ve been helping her invoice & package orders and in return she makes us dinner. Mike meets us there on his way home, too. Then we all load up and head home for baths & homework & bed. The kids usually choose to ride with Mike home from their house and I get a blissfully quiet car ride this one time during the entire week.

Tonight while we were eating dinner my dad told me he had been looking at old pictures of the kids today thanks to my lack of blog posts. He’s an avid follower of my little ol’ blog and since posts have been few & far between lately he’s had nothing much to read. He said he was reduced to clicking the little “You might also like…” links at the bottom of my posts. I love clicking through those from time to time, too.

This little comment from my dad left me feeling happy. I love that my parents are our biggest supporters. They always have been & always will be. & they do the same for my kids, too. I had just been talking today at work with someone about that. How my parents are always there for me to lean on when needed.

So this one is for you dad. I thought I’d leave you with a few pictures of your three favorite kiddos from lately…

This is so sweet. Your dad is so awesome. I wish my mom read my blog but she hasn’t really gotten the whole internet thing yet!
