According to a friend on Facebook, that title is the truth ::word:: I do happen to feel pretty good about surviving 24 hours of camping with three kids. We all know that kind of stuff can go one of two ways.
Luckily, our kind of camping wasn’t really roughing it. We had a bathroom with running water. We didn’t have to provide the food (the family camp night event provided our dinner and our breakfast) other than the snacks our kids require. & we were safely fenced in between a neighborhood and a Walmart (pretty hilarious if you think about it).
When we asked the kids the next morning, Tucker told us he loved everything, Lilah loved the campfire (mostly because she had s’mores minus the graham crackers & marshmallows, yes, that means chocolate) and the tent, & Lexie loved canoeing (even though I wouldn’t let her help paddle) and the sleeping part (our girl loves her sleep, anywhere, obviously).
& now Mike wants a tent of all tents after seeing one another family brought. Bass Pro, here we come.
